O’Reilly-really independant, O Reilly full of it?
I’d like to start this off with a direct quote from Bill
“The African-American community does not understand that they must aggressively pursue their child’s welfare. That is they have to stop drinking, they have to stop taking drugs and boozing and–and whites do it, too! Whites do it, too!”-The O’Reilly Factor, 1/17/00
Questions, anyone? Though it’s possible this was just a bad moment, it looks to me like, in the middle of saying how much he hates blacks, “taking drugs and boozing and…” he suddenly realized how bad his opinion sounded and instead of listing another fault of the African American community, he instead said “whites do it too!” Like I said, it’s possible he just misspoke this time, but I doubt it. Take a look at this.

So, fine, he hates blacks. And he purportedly has a picture of Hillary Clinton on the doormat at his office, so it’s safe to say he’s not a big fan of liberals, either.
And yet he still calls himself an independant. I guess maybe if he hated conservatives as much he could keep those credentials.
For example, this wholehearted attack on Cheney, from 5/1/01, regarding how Cheney the oil man was appointed to formulate the administration’s policy.
“I would rather have a Cheney–even though I might disagree with him sometimes–at least trying to do something, than the hypocrites we had in [the] Clinton/Gore administration.” Good thing we’ve got you guarding the gates, Bill. Those wanting more on Bill should check in tomorrow.
